Cillian Murphy

Wooo.. Cillian Murphy finally done.

This one was definitely a toughy. I fell in love with this picture of him and I had it sitting in my computer for many months. I love this man-- he has such unique facial features and he just looks so sinister. Not to mention what an awesome actor he is.

I wanted to practice drawing hands considering they are the hardest part of the human body to draw. I spent a good 7 hours on each hand and then I spent another 2 more hours fine tuning them so a collective 16 hours on those damn hands alone. I also wanted to preserve the original skin texture from the reference photo so his skin is purposely not smooth-- which is not an easy task when you're using smooth paper.
