growing up i only had 1 younger brother and no sisters. and when i married chance i also married his family and i love every single one of them so dearly. i am one of the very few lucky people whose very close to the in-laws.. more so than my own family. i have always made things here and there for my mother in law, vickey, but i realized i never made a single thing for my 2 sister in laws. so i made this journal for my sister in law, april. i will be making another one for my other sister in law, tiffany, next.

the cover is wrapped with handmade eggplant paper with gold and copper leaf prints. i carved in her initials "alr" and glued on little leaves from a hole punch to emboss the edge trimming.
